Technology for apple production, storage, and sizing and grading.

Since the beginning of its activities, Rasip has always been aware of the evolution and consolidation of new technologies, associated to the management development and technical qualification of its staff.

In the apple orchards modern techniques for planting, tree training and pruning are used with the objective of producing high quality fruits without harming the environment.

Every apple production, sizing and grading process are approved and certified under IFP (Integrated Fruit Production ), EurepGap® (Euro-Retailer Produce Working Group – EUREP / Good Agricultural Practice – GAP ), HACCP ( Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) and BRC (British Retail Consortium) programs, thus fulfilling the requirements of the main International Rules for Food Safety.

The fruits are stored in fully automated cold storage chambers with controlled atmosphere, which maintain appropriate temperature and gases levels that guarantees fruit's quality all over the year.

The apple sizing and grading process count on an operating system totally computerized and a team of professionals highly qualified, allowing the separation of apples by size, category, colour and the flexibility of different varieties being packaged simultaneously.
